PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method to recover hydrogen chloride gas from an industrial waste containing chlorine-based polymer compds., by which a hydrogen chloride gas causing synthesis of dioxin harmful for a human body is collected prior to the synthesis of dioxin and the synthesis of dioxin can be suppressed. SOLUTION: This recovering method of hydrogen chloride gas from an industrial waste containing chlorine-based polymer compds. consists of the following processes. In a sealing process, an industrial waste containing chlorine-based polymer compds. is put and sealed in a pyrolysis furnace 10, and the inner pressure is reduced to be lower than the atmospheric pressure. In a first pyrolysis process, the pyrolysis furnace 10 is heated to a first pyrolytic temp. lower than the synthesis temp. of dioxin, the first pyrolytic temp. is kept for a specified time to pyrolyze the chlorine-based polymer compds. in the industrial waste produce a hydrogen chloride gas. In a second pyrolysis process, the pyrolysis furnace 10 is rendered into a state with no oxygen and heated to a second pyrolytic temp. so as to pyrolyze the industrial waste remaining in the furnace.
