PURPOSE:To release easily and prevent the generation of a thinner wall formed on a different hardness cushion body by forming one of projections faping each other on a parted face of a mold and rotating the projection to the releasing side of the mold at the time of mold opening. CONSTITUTION:For example, a molding tool of a different harness cushion body used for a head rest of a car is composed of a split mold comprising top forces 24 and 26 and bottom forces 28 and 30. A different hardness component 50 is set on a cavity face 47, and a stay 55 of an insert 52 is inserted into a hold 25a for inserting the stay of a top force. A molding tool 22 is closed and a foaming raw material 54 is injected from a raw material injection hole 25b to form a different hardness cusion body. The ends of projections 38 and 40 are imbedded on both ends of the different hardness component 50 of the formed different hardness cushion body, and the undercut shape is constituted to the different hardness cusion body by the projections 38 and 40. When the molding tool is opened and the different hardness cushion body is released, the projections 38 and 40 are rotated to the mold releasing side to eliminate the undercut, and the different hardness cushion body can be released easily out on the molding tool without getting broken at the sections where the projections 38 and 40 are positioned.
