PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing malodor of waste food in which malodor can be prevented from being generated by inhibiting the decomposition of waste food such as raw garbage and provide a method for reutilizing waste food as the resource for fodder or fertilizer. ;SOLUTION: Waste foods such as raw garbage which produce malodor are processed in a mineral acid present atmosphere to inhibit maloder from being produced by the decomposition of waste food. And the mineral acid used in the treatment of waste food is neutralized with a neutralizer and the products obtained are reutilized together with the waste foods.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
