PURPOSE: To provide a parking device which presents a short treatment time and can be accomplished at a low cost, by dividing a lift fork into four segments so that they horizontally move up and down in the same position, hanging down the lift fork by a hanging member with a cable, coupling its left and right or the front and rear, and moving from the coupling position to the lift fork with a crosswise moving dolly. ;CONSTITUTION: Rollers 6 are borne at the top and bottom of a hangdown member 3, and an elevation/sink fixing member 5 is fixed to the upper part, and a lift fork 2 is installed. In the lower part, a lift fixing member 4 is on the elevation/sink space side secured in the position to be identical to the vertical direction of the fixing member 5. Guide rails 8 are installed upright at the four corners of the space, and along them the fixing member 5 is moved in the vertical direction so that a space is generated in which a car elevates and sinks horizontally. An accommodation chamber is installed adjacent to the elevation/sink space, and a crosswise moving dolly 10 is arranged so that it shuttles between the accommodation chamber and the elevation/sink space.
