MULTISTORY PARKING TOWER AND PARKING METHOD IN THE PARKING TOWER CAPABLE OF EFFECTIVELY PARKING VEHICLES IN THE LIMITED SPACE BY PLACING TWO OR MORE VEHICLES ON EACH PLATFORM

PURPOSE: A multistory parking tower is provided to secure the maximum parking space in the limited space and to depart the parked vehicles rapidly. CONSTITUTION: The multistory parking tower(100) comprises: a tower structure(110) containing 2-row platform layers(PL) arranged vertically and providing a spare for two vehicles; a vehicle lift reciprocating along the tower structure(110) and containing a primary pallet(210) and a secondary pallet(215), wherein the primary and secondary pallets(210,215) are arranged at regular intervals by a support frame(205); and a vertical transfer unit transferring the vehicle lift vertically. The parking method in the parking tower(100) comprises the steps of: providing a primary vehicle and a secondary vehicle parked in a line on a platform layer of a parking tower; locating a primary pallet closely to an opening of the platform layer by transferring a vehicle lift with a primary pallet and a secondary pallet; transferring the primary vehicle to the primary pallet; locating the secondary pallet closely to an opening of the platform layer by transferring the vehicle lift; and transferring the secondary vehicle to the secondary pallet.
