PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacture of a window-formed cylinder member and a liquid-filled cylindrical rubber vibration isolator using a window-formed cylinder member with short weld joint, releasing of a limit of elongation of a material, during substantial drawing for assembling a liquid-filled rubber vibration and causing a strain and a crack to hardly occur in the vicinity of the joint part. ;SOLUTION: A cutout part 4a is formed in one end in the direction of width of a blanked metallic plate. A cylinder member with window 40 is manufactured by abutting ends in the direction of width against each other, bending to form a two-division cylindrical body 40a, and welding abutment parts together, held by a jig through resistance welding to have a weld part 41 and windows 42. An outer cylinder metal fitting is further arranged on the outer periphery of a rubber bush consisting of an inner cylinder metal fitting, the cylinder member with window 40, and a rubber elastic body disposed in the spaces thereof. Liquid is filled in a recess of the rubber elastic body opening to a position corresponding to the window 42 of the cylindrical member with window 40, and the rubber bush and the outer cylindrical metal fitting are integrally fitted to each other in a liquidtight state such that the rubber bush is brought into a reduced diameter state to form a liquid-filled cylindrical rubber vibration isolator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
