LIQUID-FILLED CYLINDRICAL VIBRATION ISOLATOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-filled cylindrical vibration isolator that can remove a swelled part formed at a caulked bent part of an external cylindrical fitting to facilitate press fitting of the external cylindrical fitting and a manufacturing method that can manufacture the vibration isolator without increasing man-hour and costs.;SOLUTION: Caulk both ends of the external cylindrical fitting 4 to bend them in the radial inside direction to form a caulked part 41. Then, coaxially lay the fitting 4, where the caulked part 41 is formed, outside a vulcanized part via a seal rubber layer 33 and assemble the fitting 4 with the vulcanized part by shrinking the fitting 4. Even though a swelled part is formed by caulking at a bent part of the caulked part, the swelled part is squashed and disappears when the fitting is shrunken in the assembly process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
