PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selenium analyzing method and a device capable of performing quantitative analysis on a selenium compound for every type. ;SOLUTION: A selenium compound in a sample liquid is passed together with an eluting solvent through the separating column 7 of an ionexchange chromatography device IC and separated for every compound, for every form of presence. A sulfuric acid is added to a selenium compound solution eluted at the ion-exchange chromatography device IC from a sulfuric acid adding line 10, and then the content of selenium is determined by a inductively coupled plasma mass spectrograph ICPMS.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
