PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and report accurately call reception of a radio telephone set without faulty notice depending on the reception of an independent radio wave in the incoming call notice device that reports the arrival of an incoming call to the radio telephone set such as a portable telephone set and a personal handy phone system. ;SOLUTION: A timer (2) 28b is used to discriminate whether or not a signal received by the incoming call detection notice device 50 is received for each time division multiple access TDMA frame (5 ms) so as to allow the device 50 to confirm it that the received signal is an incoming reply signal PS from a personal handy phone system. Furthermore, the device 50 discriminates whether or not the reception of the reply signal PS is consecutive for 3.5 s that is equivalent to the longest communication time required for position registration processing by a timer (1) 28a. In the case that the device 50 confirms that the incoming reply signal PS is received not for position registration but for the incoming call, the device 50 uses a notice section 37 to drive a vibrator so as to make a notice of the reception of the incoming call in response to the incoming call.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
