PURPOSE: To provide the subject apparatus capable of pyrolyzing a polymeric material in a closed space under a reduced pressure, vaporizing the polymeric material, cooling and solidifying the vaporized material in an unheated region of the space and mass-producing the regenerated polymer having a thermodynamically metastable structure. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for a regenerated polymer comprises an openable and closable hollow unit 2 having a raw material storage part 3 for charging a polymeric material 7 and a recovering part 4 for pyrolyzing the polymeric material 7, cooling the vaporized material and thereby providing the regenerated polymer 16, a heating part 5 for heating the raw material storage part 3 of the hollow unit 2 and a pressure reducing device 6 for reducing the pressure in the interior of the hollow unit 2. Furthermore, the hollow unit 2 is constituted of the cylindrical raw material storage part 3 and the tubular recovering part 4 connected thereto in a tilted form and a detachable collector 9 for collecting the regenerated polymer 16 is attached to the recovering part 4. The heating part 5 can preferably be removed from the raw material storage part 3 and the hollow unit 2 is preferably a linear tube.
