PURPOSE: To provide a storage type electric water heater in which supply hot water pressure is not reduced even when a plurality of storage tanks are provided in parallel, and which can effectively use the hot water of the tanks. ;CONSTITUTION: The water supply ports 1a, 2a of a plurality of hot water storage tanks 1, 2 are connected to each other via a first coupling tube 3. The hot water supply ports 1b, 2b of the plurality of the tanks 1, 2 are connected to each other via a second coupling tube 4. A feed water tube 5 is connected to the tube 3, and a hot water supply tube 6 is connected to the tube 4. The fluid resistances of channels from the tube 5 to the tube 6 via the tanks 1, 2 are made substantially equal. Accordingly, even when the plurality of the tanks are connected in parallel, the hot water supply quantities from the respective tanks can be made substantially equal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
