METHOD FOR INCREASING THE YIELDS OF VEGETABLE CROPS, IN PARTICULAR OF TOMATOES AND CUCUMBERS

The method is used in transplant and non-transplant growingin greenhouses and in open fields of vegetable crops, inparticular of tomatoes and cucumbers. It includes irradiation ofthe seeds of transpants by helium-neon laser with 632.8 nmwavelength and output power of 20 mW. In the transplant growingthe tomatoes are irradiated fivefold, for 14 days in succession,and the cucumbers - sevenfold for the same period of time. In thenon-transplant output, i.e. at field conditions of sowing theseeds, the irradiation for the tomatoes is again fivefold for aperiod of 28-30 days, after which they are sown in the soil, andfor the cucumbers - sevenfold for the same period.1 claim
