The application describes a new brachytherapy device, which is made in the form of a hollow carrier radiation source tube and which can be easily connected to the suture. This form of the proposed device, which ensures its reliable attachment to tissue, minimizes the likelihood of migration of a radiation source implanted into the body of the patient. The location of the radioactive substance on the outer surface of the tubular device creates a uniform radiation field around the brachytherapeutic radiation source made in the form of a hollow tube. The invention provides brachytherapy devices that are radioactive in nature. In addition, the proposed devices that can become radioactive due to atomic transformation that occurs during their neutron irradiation. The proposed brachytherapy devices are easy-to-use and safe enough for both patients and medical staff. The international application was published along with an international search report.
