The invention relates to a static source for the supply of auxiliary services on passenger cars and restaurant wagons which are connected to the train bus of 1500 Vca-50 Hz. The source contains a single-phase transformer (5), which is powered by the train's bus, with a voltage of 1500 Vca-50 Hz and gives two voltages at the output. The first voltage enters an alternating voltage variator (8) made with two GTO thyristors or IGBIT transistors or normal thyristors connected in antiparallel, and then the output voltage from the variator enters the filter (9) in a series and parallel type, thus that, at the output of the filter, a stabilized alternating voltage, of a sinusoidal shape, with a voltage of 220 V and a frequency of 50 Hz, is obtained which ensures the supply of such consumers in optimal conditions. The second voltage enters a command rectifier (14) with thyristors or thyristors and diodes, and then into an LC filter, ensuring at the two outputs, feeding the DC consumers from the wagon to the stabilized voltage at the first output and at two outputs respectively, it is ensured that the battery is charged at optimum voltage, taking into account the type of battery and the temperature at which the battery is operating, and the charging current limited to an appropriate value.
