The connection consists of a construction which extends from a spring (3) which is extended in a plane. The construction has two legs which are positioned on the sides of a wind of the spring, where one has an end section which is deflected away from the leg. The construction has a corresponding opening located in the housing (1) of the airbag with which it engages. The opening also defines a rigid support point for the spring. The second leg is longer than the first and encloses an acute angle with it. The second leg is located in a chamber in the housing in its rest position, where it is connected with a pin (4).
