A check-in guidance system for guiding passengers who are checking in to a transport service in an environment having a passenger waiting area and a plurality of check-in points operated by check-in point operators, comprises: passenger information input means; display means; a plurality of operator information input means; and computing means for sorting passengers who have input information into said passenger information input means into a priority sequence according to the order in which they should be checked in, and for controlling, in response to information received from the passenger information input means and the operator information input means, the information displayed on the display means so as to direct passengers from the waiting area to the check-in points in accordance with said priority sequence.
