A device is envisioned for the elimination of calcareous incrustations and deposits in pipelines, water systems and equipment connected thereto comprising means for generating magnetic fields (2) acting on a flow of water subjected to treatment and catalysing means (3) constituted at least in part by metal ions and associated to the means for generating magnetic fields (2).
