The invention concerns a veterinary medicine for inducing ovulation in a mare or for stimulating the production of testosterone in a stallion, containing, as active principle, native chorionic gonadotropin (eCG) or at least a modified form of eCG which is, at least partially devoid of poly-(N-acetylactosamine) glucan units of the of the native hormone, or a mixture thereof.
