An improved process for the preparation of food forms, for example dietetic products, supplements and confectionery, with enchanced flavour, comprises the exposure to mechanical or electromechanical vibrations with a suitable frequency for a given period of time of a mixture comprising foodstuffs and special foodstuffs, products selected from solid sugars, herbs, chocolate, cocoa butter, natural polymers, inert bases, flavourings. Thanks to the very fine and uniform dispersion of the ingredients and the rapid heating - cooling, the characteristics of the foodstuffs thus obtained are uniform throughout the entire form and the flavour is more intense and constant than in foodstuffs obtained using conventional methods.
