A human cancer cell line expressing selectively the p53 anti-cancer gene and a method for producing the same

The present invention relates to a cancer cell line that selectively expresses a p53 tumor suppressor gene and a method for producing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a human bladder cancer cell line expressing p53 anti-cancer gene by expressing an expression vector for selectively expressing p53 anti-cancer gene in animal cells and a p53 anti-cancer gene dependent on tetracycline selected by transformation thereof, and a method for producing the same. Cancer cell lines can be effectively used to search for genes useful for cancer suppression regulated by the p53 gene and novel anticancer drugs.
