The present invention relates to a cancer cell line that selectively expresses a p53 tumor suppressor gene and a method for producing the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to an expression vector for selectively expressing p53 anticancer gene in animal cells, a human bladder cancer cell line expressing p53 anticancer gene in dependence on tetracycline selected and transformed thereto, and a method of preparing the same. Cancer cell lines can be used to efficiently search for cancer suppression-related useful genes and new anticancer agents regulated by the p53 gene.
