The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for using an internal contact point of a PLC in a robot in a factory automation system composed of a robot and a PLC, and performs an operation and controls an input / output contact point according to a robot and a predetermined program to use the internal contact point of the PLC. It is composed of common bus which is a passage for transferring data between PLC and robot and data connected between PLC and robot accessible to common memory, so the robot can influence the whole flow by using PLC's internal contact.
