The present invention relates to a circuit for processing a scheduling function for processing multiple events generated in an internal module of a video codec in real time and a method of processing the same. In particular, a plurality of simultaneous events can be generated in hardware without the aid of a separate software scheduler. The present invention provides a low-power sequencer device and an event processing method for event scheduling that allow a low-power sequencer to be implemented by controlling the direct control and allowing the sequencer to stop until the next event occurs when no event occurs.
