The present invention relates to a side window locking device for a bus, wherein a striker having a curved surface bent to lock and release the side window is fixed to an inner surface of the bus, and the frame is integrally formed to surround the upper surface of the curved surface. A lock plate formed with a wedge groove is rotatably fixed to the pin hole formed in the frame by a fixing pin, and a lever that is engaged or detached from the wedge groove of the lock plate is hinged to the inner side of the side window, and the bend of the striker is connected to the lever end portion. Since the roller is movable along the surface, the initial opening of the side window is automatically performed when the lever is operated so that the elderly and the child can easily open and close the side window, and the release of the lever locked to the striker is prevented while driving the vehicle. Of course, the beauty of the appearance can be improved.
