AEROSCREW CONVERTER OF ENERGY OF SOLAR RADIATION TO OZONE AND ITS PREDOMINANT APPLICATION FOR ' DARNING ' OF OZONE HOLES IN PROTECTIVE LAYER OF ATMOSPHERE

FIELD: technical physics. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to design of electrochemical exciter of formation of ozone by means of decomposition of molecular oxygen with use of electricity right in atmosphere, in zone of man-made " ozone holes ". Aeroscrew converter of energy of solar radiation to ozone has discharge ozonizer positioned on flying vehicle. Discharge ozonizer is manufactured in the form of shell made from airtight, strong, fireproof cloth or from duralumin. Spark electric dischargers operating from electric currents generated by conversion of solar radiation with the aid of photocells and from conversion of radiation of nuclear fuel by photocells are placed on outer surface of shell. Propeller of flying vehicle is rotated by thrust electric motor in tandem with starter. Framework of shell is made from duralumin tubes that are air conduits at same time. Vacuum shell composed of vacuum tubes of triangular cross-section is anchored inside shell to framework. Convection of air inside shell is excluded. Cathodes and anodes of photocells are produced in the form of concave-convex lenses from semiconductor substances which are ground to powder and pressed in magnetic field. Converter is fitted with hollow stabilizers which voids are filled with gas lighter than air and during interplanetary flights they are filled with water. Tore-shaped cylinder containing air needed for vital activities of crew and for reserve is anchored on lower part of stabilizer. Thrust electric motor and starter work in tandem on one shaft. Electric motor is supplied by power generated by conversion of radiation of nuclear fuel to electric energy and by conversion of solar radiation to electric energy. Converter is delivered for " darning " of ozone hole in atmosphere with the use of propeller. Internal space of shell is filled with gas lighter than air, external part of shell carries radar and antenna. EFFECT: simplified design of converter. 9 cl, 8 dwg
