GEAR FOR INDUCTION HEATING OF THRUST BEARINGS OF BEAMS ABOVE SPRINGS IN TRUCKS OF FREIGHT CARS

摘要

FIELD: technological equipment of car-repairing works of railroad transport. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for repair of thrust bearings of beams above springs by welding and hard- facing when their preliminary heating to temperature of 250-300 C is required. Salient feature of invention lies in that inducing coil of gear fits against flat bearing surface of thrust bearing between internal and external collars with lower butt part heat-insulated and protected by enclosure of nonmagnetic steel. U-shaped magnetic circuits having supports of different height are pressed with high support against flat bearing surface of thrust bearing and with low support - against upper surface of external collar. EFFECT: provision for fast heating uniform by depth. 3 dwg
