FIELD: vaccines. SUBSTANCE: method involves two-step ultrafiltration purification of tetanus anatoxin concentrate. This concentrate is obtained from filtrate of culture Clostridium tetani, strain Copenhagen. Ultrafiltration purification is carried out through semipermeable polymeric membrane at exclusive limits up to 100 kDa and 300 kDa at the first and the second stages, respectively, followed by membrane dialysis of concentrate against 0.05 M phosphate buffer. At the first stage of the ultrafiltration purification membrane dialysis is carried out with a solution containing additionally 0.13-0.17% of formalin and 0.3 M sodium chloride. Method includes filtrate recycling. Invention is used for the improvement of the process of preparing preparation for vaccination.
