New ralstonia eutropha glycosyl-transferase

A Ralstonia eutropha (Alcaligenes eutrophus) glycosyltransferase protein referred to as monofunctional glycosyltransferase (Mgt) is claimed in terms of an amino acid sequence given in the specification the sequence given is a DNA sequence numbered from 3500 to 4708 with three ORFs encoding sequences of 21, 231 and 105 amino acids. Also claimed are: (i) DNA having the above sequence; (ii) an expression plasmid containing the DNA; (iii) a transformant containing the plasmid; and (iv) an antibody directed against the protein.
