By drawing the cord (13), a lever effect is exerted on the locator (1). Also by drawing the cord, a part of a body extremity close to the locator is drawn downwards and a part remote from the locator is moved upwards. The draw cord system has deflector devices and an upper deflector roller (12) fitted on a retainer (14) which can be applied to a door. INSTRUMENTATION AND TESTING - The apparatus has a primary physiotherapeutical application.
