A method of preparing of purified recombinant thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)-receptor (rTSHR) (I) is new and comprises attaching a fusion protein containing (I) and a fragment of (I), joined with a peptide linker, to a solid carrier and releasing full length (I) with a protease after washing.
