One conductors (121) is connected to an excitation signal generator and the other (122) is connected to a signal sensing and processing means. The reservoirs are installed side by side and the two conductors(121a,122a; 121b,122b;121c,122c;121d,122d) of the capacitive arrangement are arranged on the walls of the ink reservoir containers.
