摘要

PURPOSE: To form a hard surface which maintains high wear resistance even at a high temp. by subjecting the surface of a member made of a Ti-Al intermetallic compd. to build-up welding. ;CONSTITUTION: A build-up material formed by using a Ti-Al alloy having the compsn. contg. 30 to 42wt.% Al and the balance Ti and consisting essentially of an intermetallic compd. till and Ti₃Al as a matrix and dispersing the particles of the hard materials including a metal carbide thereon is build-up welded on the surface of the member made of the Ti-Al intermetallic compd. by a method of plasma powder welding, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
