PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain ear bends for spectacle frames which are free from discoloration and color fading by wear of ornamental parts, sweat, etc., are highly durable and are inexpensively produced by ornamenting the inside walls of insertion holes of ear bend bodies. ;SOLUTION: The aperture 10 of the insertion hole 1 of the ear bend body M formed of a colorless and transparent cellulose propionate resin material is immersed in a coloring liquid. After the ear bend body is rested for five minutes in the state of injecting a coloring liquid into the aperture, the coloring liquid is discharged from the inside of the insertion hole 1. Coloration is applied not only on the outside surface of the ear bend body M but on the inside walls of the insertion hole 1 as well and, therefore, the wear of the colored part A1 by repeated putting on and off of spectacles does not arise and the oozing of the dyes of the colored part A1 by the wearing person' s sweat and hairdressings and the discoloration and color fading of these parts do not arise either. The durability is excellent. Further, the colored part A1 is thickly coated with the synthetic resin material constituting the ear bend M and, therefore, the absorption' of UV rays by the resin material and the consequent discoloration of the colored part A1 by the UV rays do not arise.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
