PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth medium obtained by adding the crushed matter of coconut palms to the soil generated at purification plants. SOLUTION: The crushed matter of the coconut palms is added to the soil generated at the purification plants of =60% is moisture content and/or =20wt.% in the ratio of the particles of a grain size of =2mm. The plant growth medium which is decreased in the water permeation defect arising when the soil generated at the purification plants of =60% in the moisture content and/or =20wt.% at the ratio of the particles of the grain size of =2mm is used for the plant growith medium.
