摘要

PURPOSE: To provide the protecting method for a cosmos station from a debris in which the collision with the debris having a diameter of several cm can be prevented effectively. ;CONSTITUTION: A cosmos station 2 itself is equipped with a radar 3 for searching a debris 1, and monitors the debris 1 having a diameter of several cm, and a flight body 6 equipped with a strong bumper 5 for the debris 1 which collides with the cosmos station 1 is launched to collide with the debris 1, and evaporates the debris 1 or catches the debris 1. After use, the flight body 6 is recovered into the cosmos station. The need of covering the whole of the cosmos station 2 by a heavy and strong bumper is obviated by repetitively using the flight body 6 through recovery, and the cosmos station can be effectively protected each time from the debris 1 which collides and has a diameter of several cm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
