PURPOSE: To remove soot in smoking exhaust gas by supplying N2 gas obtained by an air separation type N2 gas generator to a line and using O2-rich gas to be discharged from the generator for combustion of a reheating furnace. ;CONSTITUTION: An air separation type N2 gas generator 7 is of a molecular sieve type for separating N2 molecules and O2 molecules while varying its pressure, and externally extracts O2-rich gas to be separated by a vacuum pump 8. The N2 gas obtained by this generator is guided to an inert gas pouring unit 6 to be used as gas for pressure regulating a furnace, partly guided to a smoking gas regulator 9 to be used to dilute smoking gas. Smoking exhaust gas generated in a smoking step is all discharged into the atmosphere through a reheating furnace 10. The O2-rich gas to be discharged from the pump 8 is guided to the furnace 10 and used for its combustion gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
