PURPOSE: To increase the temperature dependence of the impedance of a temperature sensor by a method wherein cadmium iodide and a specified phosphite compound are mixed in a polyamide and moreover, either of a naphthylamine and a hindered phenol heat-resisting stabilizer is mixed in the polyamide. ;CONSTITUTION: A temperature detection wire is constituted of a polyester wadding 1, silver-filled copper electrode wires 2 and 4, a temperature-sensing polymer layer 3, a polyester isolation layer 5 and a heat-resisting polyvinyl chloride coating 6. As the layer 3 among these, a layer consisting of a composition which is formed by a method, wherein cadmium iodide and a phosphite compound having 3 to 20wt.% of a phosphorus concentration and a molecular weight of 200 to 500 are mixed in a polyamide and moreover, either of a naphthylamine and a hindered phenol heat-resisting stabilizer is mixed in the polyamide, is used. Thereby, the B constant of a thermistor is increased and the long-range mechanical strength and electrical characteristics of the temperature detection wire are synergistically stabilized even at a high temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
