PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a metallic strip having uniform thickness in the width direction and easy for transport and coiling in producing. ;SOLUTION: A nozzle 1 for metallic strip is composed of a refractory cylindrical body for holding molten metal injected onto the surface of a cooling roll rotated at high speed and a slitting opening hole 2 arranged at the lower part of the cylindrical body and straightening the injected molten metal. The slit-like opening hole 2 is formed into wider cross sectional area at the both end parts in the horizontal direction than the center part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
