PURPOSE: To construct a temporary scaffold easily, and enable an operator to pass safely through it by installing a projecting piece of a metal fitting body in a rise part of a tread part, and constructing a scaffold plate by juxtaposing support metal fittings having hooking-fastening pieces on the tip of a horizontal piece at proper intervals with each other. ;CONSTITUTION: A projecting piece 12 of a vertical piece 11 of a main body 1 is installed on the upper end of a rise part C of the base end of a part B of steel stairs A. At this time, hooking-fastening pieces 17 on the tip of a horizontal piece 13 are installed on the upper end of the rise part C on the tip of the tread part B in a mutually locking condition. Similarly, they are juxtaposed at proper intervals with each other, and are placed in a condition where a scaffold plate D is constructed on the horizontal pieces 13 of those support metal fittings 1. Next, the scaffold plate D is fixed to a fixing piece 14 by nails so as not to fall. Afterwards, concrete G is placed in the tread part B, and the support metal fittings 1 are removed after curing.
