PURPOSE: To punch the fine pattern inner leads of a multipin lead frame without causing any torsion or warp by providing a stripper with a downward inclination stopper having the minimum width of a lead to be punched at the top of inclination. ;CONSTITUTION: An inclination stopper 8 is provided for a stripper 6 which presses a plate 7 to be punched against a die 1. The stopper 8 inclines downward and has a top on the forward end side of lead thus pressing an inner lead 3 more strongly toward the forward end side thereof where the width is narrow. Since the narrow part is pressed hard, the inner lead 3 resists against the shearing force or bending force at the time of punching 9 the adjacent part thus preventing torsion or warp.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
