PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal the opening part of a liquid circuit for circulating cutting oil or coolant by fitting a collet chuck member to the tip of the opening part to closely fit it to the inside surface of the opening, and pressing the collet chuck member to the inside surface of the opening part by a wedge member. ;SOLUTION: This sealing plug is formed of a collar member 6, a wedge member 8 and a screw member 10. The collar part 6 is formed of a collar portion butted to the outside surface of the opening hole of a metal mold member and a cylindrical chuck member extended from the collar potion. The chuck member is formed into four circular pieces by slitting, and the opening part inside surface at the tip is tapered. The outer surface 6H of the tapered part forms a pressure fitting surface pressure-fitted to the inside surface of the hole of the metal mold. The circumferential part of the chuck part forms a relief part recessed from the pressure contact part 6H. A through- hole 6E is machined so as to extend from the cylindrical part inside surface of the chuck part formed on the collar part to the outside surface of the collar part so as to work it as a relief hole for cutting oil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
