ONLINE QUESTION-ANSWERING SYSTEM, SERVER DEVICE AND CLIENT DEVICE FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an online question-answering system capable of recovering communication by dealing with interruption from the side of client and interruption from the side of server as well in a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A server device 1 successively transmits a plurality of questions through a network 3 to a client device 2. These questions are transferred by a hyper text transfer protocol(http), for example, and displayed on a world wide web(WWW) browser. Answers to these questions are similarly transmitted to the server device 1 by http. The server device holds there answers as an intermediate result but simultaneously transfers there answers to the client device as cookie and holds it in the client device as well. When the intermediate result on the side of server device is extinguished by timeout or server crush, the following interrogation is sent from the client device to the server device and interrogation can be restarted from an intermediate stage.
