PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of the object program having a loop process and to shorten the time needed for the process. ;SOLUTION: The device has a loop processing extraction means 124 which extracts a loop process part from a source program or an intermediate text obtained by converting the source language into a low-level language, a recording area analyzing means 125 which analyzes a recording area for a variable controlling a frequency of looping between conditional branch instructions and selects an address recording area wherein the head address value is recorded, a head address setting means 126 which writes the head address value of a state processing to be executed next after one state processing ends in the address recording area, and a jump instruction converting means 127 which converts the conditional branch instruction into a jump instruction for making a jump to the head address of the state processing to be executed next by referring to the head address value in the address recording area and making a processor perform the state processing at the jump destination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
