PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and labor-saving motor-driven rotary ground-water level measuring device capable of finishing determination for a water level concurrently in a sounding test procedure. SOLUTION: In this ground-water level measuring device, a base end of a sounding rod 2, constituted by connecting extension rods 2b, with a screw point 3 connected is connected to a drive part of a speed reducing motor M/C, the motor M/C is mounted demountably, a mounting table 4 with a drive part through hole 4a is guided freely elevatably in a mounting part thereof along a column 5a of a column frame 5 erected astride the rod 2, a tip hook 6b of a rope 6a suspended from a winch 6 with a brake provided in the column frame 5 is hooked to the table 4 via a lifting tool 4a, a weight loading clamp 7 for a weight 8 is provided in an intermediate portion of a rod 2 outer circumference, through holes 9 are provided with longitudinal-directional intervals in the rod 2 to be packed with a wettable member 10, and the rod 2 is lifted by the winch 6 in a condition where the motor M/C is removed.
