Abstract pattern design simulation system for building materials printing

PURPOSE:To execute the simulation of a design of a pattern of a unit raw material, and also, to reduce the work load of the design, in an abstract pattern building material printing. CONSTITUTION:In a DB accumulating part 7, image data of many cloth patterns is accumulated, and a cloth pattern data base is constructed. A DB retrieving part 9 retrieves an instructed cloth pattern, and writes it in an image memory part 10. To the retrieved cloth pattern, image proceedings of enlargement, reduction and rotation can be performed by an affine transformation part 11, and contrast adjustment, brightness adjustment, etc., can be executed by a gradation correcting part 12. An image synthesizing part 13 performs an instructed operation to two cloth patterns, and synthesizes two cloth patterns. To a partial print pattern obtained as a result of synthesis, a characteristic designated by a coloring processing part 14 is imparted. Subsequently, when a desired partial print pattern is instructed, an output processing part 15 synthesizes an instructed partial print pattern and generates color image data, and outputs it to a color CRT 4 or a color hard copy 5.
