PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of leader tape engaging part which can engage the end part of leader tape to the tape end hooking part without requiring a tab projected in the side of leader tape.;SOLUTION: In the structure of engaging part for engaging the end part of leader tape 10 to be connected to the end part of supply side of magnetic tape to the tape end hooking part 26 of tape cartridge without using the tab projected to the side of such end part, a film plate 13 in the width smaller than that of the leader tape is also used in such a manner that it is attached to the end part of the leader tape 10, it is coupled to be bent to the leader tape 10 and it has a hole 12 for engagement with the hooking part 26.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
