PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw fabric for a contest having hydrodynamically excellent properties by reducing an air resistance on the fabric surface in a clothing used for a contest using the raw fabric capable of accurately controlling a prescribed air passing amount required for an inspection in relating to a raw fabric mainly used for a ski jump contest and a clothing for the contest using the raw fabric. SOLUTION: This clothing raw material for a contest is obtained by integrally adhering a film 3 comprising a synthetic resin having many pierced small holes 6 to rear faces of a face fabric 2 and a rear fabric 5 made of a knitted fabric or a woven fabric to obtain a double layered raw material and integrally fusing or adhering the film 3 in the double layered raw material to face side and rear side of a sheetlike core material 4 having air permeability and cushioning property. The clothing for the contest is characterized by using this raw material.
