PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a paper with red and white paper strings, up-to-date, gorgeous and rich in originality and design idea for the purpose of enhancing the demand for papers, mainly for traditional Japanese papers, and provide a manufacturing method thereof. ;SOLUTION: A paper main body 1 is formed of, for example, a traditional Japanese paper, a conventional paper, a synthetic paper or the like, and a decoration paper with red and white paper strings 2 is mixed with the whole or a parts of the paper. A red and white paper string decoration material 2 is formed of the combination of a plurality of red and white paper strings 3, 3... of one kind or multiple kinds, and strings cut into the proper length and arranged can be dispersed, or the red and white paper string decoration forming a plane or a solid shape formed by folding the paper and forming the proper shapes of flowers, birds and the like preliminarily can be adopted. Also it is advisable that such a paper with red and white paper strings is manufactured through a process of steaming and fibrillating vegetable fibers and manufacturing paper stocks, a process of introducing the read and white strings or a red and white paper string decoration material into paper stocks manufacture in the foregoing process, a process of dispersing the paper stocks with red and white paper strings under water and manufacturing a paper and a process of overlapping the paper stocks with red and white paper strings manufactured in the foregoing process on a paper bed, dehydrating the same gradually by a press or the like and drying the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
