REAGENT FOR DETECTING PML-RARA CHIMERA mRNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oligonucleotide that can simply, promptly, specifically and high sensitively detect PML-RARA chimera mRNA and is useful for diagnosis of acute promyelocytic leukemia by allowing the oligonucleotide to include a specific base sequence. ;SOLUTION: This oligonucleotide includes a base sequence that comprises at least a 15 base sequence among the base sequences of formula I through formula IV. They are a primer group for detecting the RML-RARA chimera mRNA comprising the oligonucleotide for detection of this PML-RARA chimera mRNA. In a preferred embodiment, at least one among the oligonucleotides constituting this primer group has a promoter sequence of the DNA-dependent RNA polymerase on its 5'-terminus. In another preferred embodiment, a reagent kit for detecting the PML-RARA chimera mRNA is prepared by using these primer groups.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
