PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject film having specific properties, excellent in surface smoothness and obtainable sufficient image concentration and resolution degree. ;SOLUTION: This film includes many caves inside and has 1.3 apparent specific gravity, 0.3 mm a center line average surface roughness and 0.15 mm average light transferring distance. Preferably, the film laminates a polyester layer (skin layer) having many caves derived from fine particles (preferably titanium oxide or zinc sulfide) having 0.1-5 m average particle diameter with a film (core layer) containing caves derived from a thermoplastic resin immiscible to a polyester. Preferably, thickness of the skin layer is 1-20 m and 3-30% of whole thickness of the film. The film is comfortably usable for heat transfer printing, sublimation transfer printing and a base material of an image receiving sheet such as an ink jet printer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
